Artificial Intelligence and Big Data

AI, Big Data, and the Cloud are changing everything with the potential to improve many aspects of our lives, including healthcare, education, transportation, and communication. In business, AI is being used to automate repetitive tasks, analyze data, and make predictions, allowing companies to make better decisions, improve efficiency, and increase productivity.

WOW WEE– Back in 1999 we were asked to help the founders of WOW WEE toys to develop a strategy that leveraged their expertise in Animatronics and develop a new generation of toys – so we got in touch with a NASA scientist!

New frontiers and boundless possibilies

The impact of AI and big data can be seen in many industries, including healthcare, finance, retail, manufacturing, media and services. In healthcare, for example, AI and big data can be used to analyze patient data and inform the development of new treatments. In finance, AI can be used to detect fraudulent activity and assess risk. In retail, AI and data analytics can be used to analyze customer data and inform marketing and sales efforts. In manufacturing, big data can be used to optimize supply chain operations and improve product quality… the possibilities are boundless

We have been involved with AI for some time…

Our project experience working with AI to solve the most challenging problems in industry, started with machine learning and knowledge based systems to develop a travel advisory service on the web in 1993. Since then we have worked with IBM’s Watson, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Services, and recently OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google Colab’s GPT3 and Disco Diffusion to create and mint NFTs.

Big Data

The importance of big data lies in its ability to provide insights and inform decision-making.

By analyzing large amounts of data, organizations can identify patterns, trends, and relationships that would be difficult or impossible to detect with traditional methods. This can help organizations to optimize their operations, improve efficiency, and gain a competitive advantage.

Changing the way your business operates

AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants are being used to improve customer service and support, while other applications such as computer vision and natural language processing are being used to analyze customer data and improve marketing and sales efforts. As a result, AI is changing the way that businesses operate and helping them to stay competitive in an increasingly digital world.

Big Data… endless possibilities

We work with clients to explore the art of the possible. As data becomes more central to decision-making, the role of data scientists and other data professionals is becoming increasingly important. Big data is driving the development of new technologies such as cloud computing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence that can unlock value and create new businesses in new markets.

Big data is changing the way that organizations operate and helping them to stay competitive in an increasingly data-driven world. There are a number of important trends in big data that are currently shaping the field:

Cloud computing: The use of cloud-based platforms for data storage and processing is becoming increasingly popular, as it allows organizations to access large amounts of storage and computing power without having to invest in expensive infrastructure.

Machine learning: Machine learning algorithms are being used to analyze big data and extract insights in real-time. These algorithms can be used for tasks such as predictive modeling, natural language processing, and computer vision.

Internet of Things (IoT): The IoT is generating a huge amount of data from connected devices, such as sensors and cameras, and this data is being used to inform decision-making in various industries.

Streaming data: Big Data is not just about storing and processing data after it has been generated, but also about processing data as it is being generated – known as Streaming Data.

Data Governance: With the increasing amount of data being collected and stored, data governance has become a critical aspect of big data, ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and protected.

Ethical and Social Implications: As big data continues to grow, the ethical and social implications of how this data is collected, stored, and used are becoming increasingly important, with the need to address issues such as data privacy and data bias.

Overall, these trends are driving the development of new technologies, changing the way that organizations operate, and opening up new opportunities for businesses and individuals.
